Dr Mariana Barreto is a passionate Senior Veterinarian with over 15 years of international experience in veterinary medicine. Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and proudly Italian-Brazilian, Dr Mariana brings a unique blend of warmth, cultural richness and professional expertise to the Blue Oasis Vet team. With a strong focus on diagnostic imaging, Dr Mariana specialises in ultrasound, radiology and MRI. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science along with Postgraduate Certificates in Diagnostic Imaging and Small Animal Internal Medicine. Her career has taken her across Brazil, Portugal and The Netherlands, where she gained deep clinical insight and a reputation for excellence in animal care. Dr Mariana joined Blue Oasis in 2023, driven by her commitment to delivering advanced, compassionate care to every patient. Outside of the clinic, she supports global NGOs and is a dedicated advocate for animal welfare. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her exploring Dubai’s dynamic lifestyle or travelling with her husband, always in search of new cultures and cuisines.
